I'm in Amsterdam right now. This is truly an amazing and unique city. One of the reasons we came here was to see Beyoncé. Not having tickets to any of her two shows was a minor problem though. We thought we would head to the venue and try the whole scalper thing (the tickets have been sold out for months). I logged on to Ticketmaster right before we left to the Ziggo Dome and guess what? We got floor tickets for face value! This was not the only great thing that happened to me yesterday. I also received an e-mail saying that I've been nominated for a Yeggie! What's a Yeggie? I am curious if your style and Parisian style overlap - are you fairly representative of the average Parisian woman? How are you influenced by the style there compared to Alberta?! What a wonderful experience!

ReplyDeleteI wouldn't say that I am representative of the average Parisian women but my outfits have definitely been influenced by them. Parisian women have this effortlessly chic look to them. They can go out in a pair of skinny jeans and a tee and still manage to look extremely stylish. I'm not sure if I can pull that off. Back in Alberta I would dress in bright colours and I love patterns, but since moving here have been drawn to more simple and classic pieces in blacks and neutrals. I am realizing that sometimes less is more and you don't have to get too funky with your outfits to look stylish.
