Lyon
Hello from Greece! What better way to end a year in Europe than to spend a few weeks where Europe started. But first, a post that I've been putting off for a few weeks. About a month ago we headed to Lyon, which is France's second city (although Marseille might disagree). Long story short, it's a beautiful city with great food and great wine. The wine from this region (Côtes du Rhône) is our favourite!

The White Dress
The happiest day of my life has come and gone and I couldn't be more thrilled with how everything turned out! Continuing with our "non-wedding" theme, I opted for a casual short dress and some bright coloured pumps. Hair and make up for the special day was also done by yours truly.

It was inevitable but still feels sad and strange - the last photo shoot in Paris. We are leaving this amazing city tomorrow after living here for an entire year! It was only fitting that it took place in our neighbourhood with the Eiffel Tower in the background. We have walked/jogged this route dozens of times and will miss it immensely.

Picnic Dress

One of our favourite things to do in Paris is picnic. Whether at the Seine, Luxembourg Gardens or the Eiffel Tower, it always feels so romantic and magical. Really! We snapped these pics right before one of those picnics. This dress was perfect for the occasion with its light flowy material and flowered pattern. The basket also came in handy which we purchased at a market in Brittany!

Nimes
Nimes is only a 30 minute train ride from Montpellier. This is where denim was invented, hence the name denim. The city also has some amazing Roman ruins as it was once a very important Roman colony.
This is essentially a mini Colosseum, although it's not that mini!
The city is beautiful.
It also has beautiful desserts!
Pay close attention to the dead tree, maybe flip your computer upside down.
The best view of the city is from the hill with the Roman tower. You can climb up the tower and get a spectacular view.
I will miss southern France :(
