Northern Brittany

Brittany basically has northern, eastern, and southern coast lines. This makes it a great place to visit if you love the sea (maybe not so much in winter). We visited the northern coast, and thanks to an amazing host we we able to see some spectacular sights.

Saint-Malo is the main tourist destination of this area. This is where Jacques Cartier sailed from on his voyages to Canada.

The second oldest golf course in France!

Moules!

This wind was fierce this day, and these surfers were loving it.

This guy was desperate to get to the beach on time.

I've eaten these things!

This is looking out from an old German bunker.

Brittany was our second last trip in France. Our last trip will be to the Basque country. Time flies when you're having fun in France!

Lace

Tank - Vera Moda; Pants - Cynthia Rowley; Sandals - Diba; Bracelets - The Bay; Watch - Michael Kors; Earrings - Gifted; Necklace - RoxOn

Bring on the hot weather Paris. I'm ready for you with my sandals and lace tops! What better way to beat the heat and aerate the body than with a little lacy tank? I certainly can't think of one. You can view another lacy look here which I also plan on wearing in high rotation this summer.

Rennes

If my blog had it's own bank!

Rennes is the capital of Brittany, which is a very unique region of France. Brittany is actually considered one of the 6 Celtic nations. The others are Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Isle of Man, and Cornwall. Because of this, you will spot a lot more people with strawberry blonde hair in Rennes than you will in Paris. The town has similar architecture to Rouen. There is a large student population here so the city was quite lively when we arrived around via train just after midnight.

I do actually miss the muffins from back home. Not because they are that much better than French muffins, but because they are that much cheaper!

Of course you can't go the Brittany without eating a galette and drinking cider!

Oh and don't forget to order a crepe for dessert!

Check back later this week for more on our Brittany trip! Thanks for reading!!

White-Out Conditions

Top- Pimkie; Jeans - Jacob; Pumps - Le Chateau; Earrings - Gifted; Watch - Michael Kors; Bracelet - RoxOn

In my opinion white can be worn during any season but I particularly love wearing it in the warmer spring/summer months. I usually stick to just one item of white whether it’s a top or bottoms, but have recently been inspired by so many other fashion bloggers  to try an all-white ensemble myself (plus a few pops of colour). I have worn these jeans before but was sick of rolling them up so took matters into my own hands and cut them shorter. I’m so DIY-ey!
